The Orion BMS 2 in a 180-cell configuration is a centralised BMS able to monitor battery state of health, voltage and temperature. Additional design was needed for temperature sensing through the pack to ensure at least 20% of modules are monitored, which is the rules minimum.
Validation: run the HV system and confirm the BMS reads cell temperature and voltage, and shuts off battery power when limits are surpassed.
