Camber Shim (Rear)

Purpose

Adjust rear camber by shimming the top mount away from the upright.

Function

A thin plate added or removed to change a dimension. Shims give a repeatable setting that cannot drift, unlike a threaded adjustment.

Design Process

Camber is adjusted by adding steel camber shims between the top mount and the upright.

Manufacturing Process

Waterjet or laser cut from sheet.
